Californian-Kiwi Music connection Award:
An initiative set up to give the bands a taste of what is required to leave NZ and play a show in the USA - but more importantly to connect these bands to industry heavy-weights on the ground in LA that will open some colourful doors to promotion, sponsorship opportunities, studio recording and booking shows across the US.
2022 DTG UC Winners - Pool House were flown to LA and played a one off show at the Whisky A Go Go on the Sunset Strip
2024 DTG UOA Winners - Th’ Goodside (formerly Bliss) flew to LA in September last year and played two epic shows at the Whisky A Go Go
