The DIG THE GIG Wellington Grand Finale 2026 was always going to a ripper! 

Thanks to our DTG House Band - Zed from Dreams of the Damned for a spectacular solo performance.

Thanks for that very special guest performance from BADTAB - it really was off the fucking hook! 

Birdlaw hit the stage with venom and vigour - a beautiful raw blood hounding sound from a three piece that gave us a taste of what the Melvin's might have sounded like back in the 80’s! 

Bandwidth Riot - a unique act that delivered big time! Freddy Jarman’s presence and vocal delivery was polarising! This band is in a special place - keep it going Gents. 

Studio4 raised the outstandingly high rock n' roll bar a little more and some! Frontman Carter Maule took us back to a young Billy Joel! A tight band that clearly on their night will blow the roof of any stadium around the globe!

Zadie floated onto the stage and delivered a heavy, heartfelt and heroic set that the colourful Valhalla crowd loved! There is something about a ftiggin good three piece and these cats are exactly that! The Warenczuk brothers on guitar and drums were outstanding - don’t go changing - we loved every piece of it. 

The Splinters closed the emphatic, evoking and somewhat glorious night off with a bell blistering set that simply put blew us all away. Congrats on winning DTG Welly 2026.
