DIG THE GIG Dunedin 2026 Grand Finale IN ALL ITS GLORY.

The DIG THE GIG Dunedin 2026 Grand Finale last Thursday night was a complete stunner! Right from the get go we all knew it was going to be special.

Thanks to our DTG House Band JR Williams for one hell of a Social performance!

Huge thanks to DTG Dunedin 2025 Winners One Day for an electrifying guest set - that was insane!

Parallel Play drew first blood and were outstanding - they looked great, sounded great and we loved every bit of their set. Awesome!

Kenposia didn't have the purpose and power they delivered in their heat, but all in all they came out swinging. Ones to watch - these cats are talented.

Liquid Lucy eased into a Pink Floyd cover and went about their business, pushing the PA to its limit and playing well. Big things will happen if they stay together.

Alleyway raised the DTG Rock N' Roll bar and then some! A spectacular set enjoyed immensely by the rather large and colourful crowd!

Hunky Dory played the show of their young lives! We all felt it - pulled into a subtle vacuum of pure stage show brilliance that simply blew us away! A three song set that got them well over the line, and the rest is history! A tight band with superb precision on all fronts. Congrats on winning DTG Dunedin 2026!

Cleos closed the grand finale in style and musical brilliance! These guys have it all in spades - a wonderful show that highlights the depth of the Dunedin Tertiary band scene. Thank you for the music Cleos, please don't go changing!

Huge thanks to Yas at U Bar and his Hospitality Heroes for serving the cool crowd, Liam D our Host with the Most who had a blinder (nice to have him back in the DTG Saddle of Rock N' Roll), Alex for great sound and Zion for the snaps.

Thanks to our epic sponsors - the road is long and it's a thin thin line, we can't do this by ourselves - we salute you!

Thanks to all the FANS who screamed your lungs and hearts out for your favourite bands - it's all about you and you simply can't beat ROCK N ROLL DEMOCRACY.

See all you good souls next year!

All gave some but some gave all.
